Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) was established by Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society in 1999 with an aim to meet the aspirations of youth and enhance the technological prowess of the country. The institute is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The 10.5 acres vast campus is located in Rohini, Delhi and houses hostel, library, amphitheater, auditoriums, badminton courts, playground, canteens and a branch of Union Bank of India along with Oriental Bank of Commerce and Bank of Baroda ATMs. MAIT endeavours to inculcate in its students cogent and out of the box approach to life. Entrepreneurial and leadership skills are also cultivated in students. MAIT organises various extracurricular activities such as Quizzes, Debates, Extempore, Performances and Workshops. Sportz, the annual sports fest, Techsurge and Mridang the annual inter college technical fest and cultural fest are exclusively held and managed by the students of MAIT. Students at MAIT are imparted industry relevant education and training with in-house and industrial training facilities.
