VVIT was established in the year 2007, under Social Educational Trust in Nambur village, Pedakakani mandal of Guntur district by Mr. Vasireddy Vidya Sagar the eldest son of Late Sri Vasireddy Appa Rao. VVIT has self contained infrastructure located amidst the lush greenery of paddy and maize fields of Nambur located strategically between Guntur and Vijayawada. the institution provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The girls hostel is located within the college campus while the boys hostel is located on Amaravati Road opp Id Hospital. VVIT operates a fleet of 50 buses to provide a smooth glitch less transportation for the students and staff from every important place in Guntur, Vijayawada, Mangalagiri, Tenali, Ponnur, Amaravathi, Tadikonda, Kantheru, Perecherla and Nuthakki. The college also has a computerized library well equipped with a large collection of books under the categories of academics, reference and general. All the books are bar-coded and indexed using the latest library management software. The library also subscribes to both national and international magazines, journals and periodicals in addition to leading national dailies.
