Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) was founded by the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate board (HSNC) in 1983. Incidentally, HSNC dates back to 1949 and the first college they started was the Rishi Dayaram National College, at Bandra. TSEC is one of the oldest private engineering colleges. The college is affiliated to the Mumbai University and the courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). At the undergraduate level, the college offers B.E. in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CSE), Electronics & Telecommunication (ETE), Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Bio-technological Engineering.
