The Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS) was established in 1952 and is located in Indore. SGSITS is located in Indore and the campus is approximately 35 acres in size. It is on New Park Road, and just a few minutes from the railway and bus stations. The campus has four boys’ hostels, which can accommodate 600 students, and two girls’ hostels, which can accommodate 100 students, and one transit hostel for research scholars and lecturers. The institute also has football and cricket grounds, a gymnasium and an indoor sports complex. Most students join any one of the many clubs at SGSITS, and the Robotics Club has over 1,200 active members. Aayam is the college’s techno cultural fest that offers a very wide variety of events from techno-savvy events to dance competitions.
