Delhi Technological University (DTU) is a leading institution of technology and engineering, located in New Delhi, India. DTU started out as the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and has recently gained university status. The last two decades have witnessed plenty of changes, with the college also moving to a huge 164 acre campus in Northern Delhi, just next to Bawana Road. The new campus is expansive and its lush green environment makes the atmosphere on campus relaxing and serene. The university campus also houses a large library, a computer centre, a sports complex, and gymnasium. It even has an auditorium and an open air amphitheatre. There are 15 hostels in all on campus – eight hostels for boys, six for women, and one for married couples. The university also has accommodation facilities for its staff and faculty.
